Quest 1 (Bordeaux Style) becomes flagship wine after Platter's rating
The recently-launched 39th edition of Platter’s Wine Guide shows that Du Toitskloof Wines are not only in the business of making great commercial wine, but produces exceptional boutique-style wines like the Quest Heroes Journey 1 (Bordeaux Style).
Heroes Journey 1 (2012) was awarded 92 points (4.5 stars) in this year’s Platter’s Wine Guide with an additional two gold medals awarded by Veritas Awards and Michelangelo Awards a couple of weeks ago. This elegant wine has a dark ruby colour and a nose bursting of blackcurrant, dark chocolate and vanilla characters. Floral flavours with a broad mid-palate and a long finish. The final blend was 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 12% Petit Verdot and matured in first-fill French oak barrels for 24 months. To purchase for R160.00 click here.
